now... christmas, the time where people celebrate a season of giving, exchanging presents and the birth of Christ.. but one thing which many people do not know.. we all know that this isnt the exact date which Jesus was borned, and nobody knows when... not many people know that the date of Christmas, but the day itself came from pagan origins, which is disgusting when you look deeper into it...

performing at esplanade park tomorrow night from 5.30-8pm.. come come!! its free! its from the singapore youth for christ, the one which wei kang went for, but this time at esplanade park.. haha.. F-I-N-L-A-N-D

aniwaes, packed 98% of my stuffs already, the remaining consists of my toothbrush, toothpaste, gel, laundry bag, erm, what else, my wedding coat, which is with my bro... i think thats it... have to bring a whole bunch of books for my sis, if not my bags will be much lighter... the worst thing is that i dont have my cd player with me.. =(
its with my grandfather... long story that one is...

anyways, i heard both my bro's and dad's students won 1st place in the violin competition, the junior and intermediate category.. haha... expected... =p

my dad kinda scolded me for doing things at the last minute today, which i don't think so... i was outside with my church friends, and he said that i should be home packing my bags... oh wells, not against him or anything, and i don't like to dishonour my parents, but i think i know what i'm doing, and i can handle things myself.. i sure don't need them to worry about the way i do things... i guess sometimes he just cant trust me enough, cause sometimes things happen when we overlook them, so i guess i don't blame him... but things ended well today...

oh, and i got my school results back today.. wah liew... very weird lehz.. i scored badly for some subjects which i did quite well, i think...

2 MORE DAYS!!!

went to get my passport today.. sooo new and clean... i damaged my previous one coz i left it in the washing machine.. bleah...

went winter shopping too... bought a number of stuffs, and my dad spent around $500 worth of winter stuffs... we bought this thermal pants, which is like a very very thin pyjamas pants, and guess how much does each cost... $63!!! wah lau... for that pants!!!?? from italy they say... doh! aniwaes, bought ski gloves too, and wool socks, and a woolen sweater... haha...

not sure if i'm going to the violin competition finals later.. so early in the morning.. my bro's and dad's student got in, intermediate and junior respectively... haha... my dad said from the looks of it, both of them should get 1st... they're siblings btw.. can help but notice that not a single nafa violin joined the competition.. haha.. sianz... wait til they have a cello competition, then, muahahahaa.... well, on second thought, i never really liked competitions... it puts me down watching people play so well.. crappo... inferiority complex... besides, playing is all about character, and the judges' decision is not always the best... they should have a vote, like american idol or something... haha...

but singaporean youths nowadays, haiz... just dunno how to appreciate classical music... well, get this, without classical music, pop, rock, jazz, new age, whatever you can think of, wont be here... classical music was the step to refining music, the time where music is controlled by laws so that it will be called MUSIC... scratching records, people screaming and electrical sounds are not music, they are called noise, it is not natural... well, anyways, whatever...

havent been blogging for 2 days i think... nothing much happened anyways... seng fu and aloysius stayed over at my house yesterday, and they made a mess out of my room... they left some maggie mee on my bed and they turned my room upside down... =.=
and they couldnt help themselves from touching my lightsaber... oh, talking about it, we were trying to make a short movie clip using my lightsaber... haha... we only managed to make one, with me being the cameraman... i'll try to upload it one of these days.. its quite dumb... they kept hitting my cardboard and my ceiling light, and i almost broke it... oh wells..

i need to go winter shopping soon, got lots of winter wear to get before leaving for the states... anybody wanna join? haha... probably not...

aniwaes, played for singapore youth for christ yesterday, and wei kang came to watch it... he thought he was tricked into coming, but it was actually his own mistake... haha... it went quite well, but the a capella group went a little out of tune after awhile... oh wells... then took a cab home for my house concert which my dad organised... on the way home, my dad called me and told me i have to play something... !!! wah liew... the concert is like 3 hours away?? so bo bian lorh... nothing to play.. no pianist to accompany me also, so muz play bach suite.. haha.. getting sick of that song liao... so, during the performance, i told the audience a little about bach and his suites, and i told them he wrote it in cothen... right??? i mean, he wrote it in cothen right??? please tell me that i'm right... wait... i go check my history portfolios to see if i'm right.........................................................

YES!!! I'M RIGHT!!! HE WROTE IT IN COTHEN!!! AHHHHHHHHHH.... i'm juz good... =p

anyways, i learnt a huge lesson from that performance... NEVER ever, and i mean EVER, put rosin on your bow without trying it out again after putting it... i did it.. the bow's resistance was not what i expected to be and weird sounds came from the strings... and it was hard to control my bow... just wasnt used to the sudden change of resistance after putting on the rosin... oh wells... yong rui joined us too, and i played a trick on him.. haha.. i told him that my dad said he had to play something... and he had totally nothing to play... and he panicked.. hahahaa... he was like searching all my piano scores for songs to sight-read... so he found out that he didnt need to... drats...

as for today, played basketball with my friends... haha... lost to a team of girls, 11-10... their shooting is really good, and they are from some school team from some jc... had some unhealthy bodily contact too... haiz... just not used to playing contact sports with girls.. oh wells... haha... no, i'm not a chauvanist pig, at least not now...

The Universe...

wowwwwwwww....
oh man... went to audrey's birthday party today.. haha... ate a lot for the bbq... it was really fun.. and i juzt realised today that i didnt like beer, but i already opened a bottle of heineken, so i have no choice but to finish it... well, it appears that audrey's brother, martin, admires me.. ahaaa... ok.. maybe i think too much.. bhb... but it appears that he holds me in quite a high position.. haha... when i entered his house, he wanted me to play a piece on tommy's cello, and i just didnt know what to play... haha.. so i was playing crappy stuff, a little of bach's suite, a little of haydn... he's quite a nice guy, but i guess he's a little down about his ability on the violin.. he's only sec 1, and he's taking grade 7 already... and he says he's not as good compared to tommy, his brother.. i mean, man, if that's bad, look at me man... took grade 8 at sec 4, my siblings were at the states at my age, and here i am, studying at nafa in singapore... oh wells, in any case, lets just see how it goes for me in the future...

aniwaes, after the bbq, the gang lied down beside the pool and gazed at the night sky... it is sooooooooo amazing... i found so many stars which i never knew was there! i realised that theres actually a small cluster of stars, the size of ur thumb if you were to point it toward the sky with your arm out-stretched, that was made up of 6 or more stars! it is soo amazing!

wow... as we gazed through the sky, something struck my mind.. wow.. isnt the universe amazing? there has to be a creator behind it! and that is God! i mean, there isnt any other way to explain the creation of everything in this universe! the big bang? what was it before the big bang? something had to be there! even stephen hawking doesnt know what was there before it! everything we see here, the universe, earth, plants, humans, millions and billions of stars, made by God! i mean, wow! you cant say that we evolved from apes... the theory isnt even proven at all! it simply says that all animals came from a simple cell, and it evolved to what is known as us today.. why do they say that? because all of the animals had a common part of their body that links to the rest, example, the sealion used to have legs, but they developed fins because they seldom used their legs, but the evidence of their legs are in their bone structure, which are also similar to whales and dolphins, etc... then let me ask you one thing, if i were to use a lego set to create 2 different animals, lets say a human, and a horse, and i used a blue piece on both figures, does that mean they came from one piece and became two different spieces of lego figures? no! in fact, it is also saying that there is a creator who uses the same piece in his creations! i mean, ok, i think many of you wont understand what i'm saying, but basically, evolution is rubbish... it is not even a proven and fool-proof theory and the world is adopting it as if it was a fact... it is not... and there is only another possibility of our existence, and that is God.. the only reason why many people do not adopt this idea is because they don't like it, or they do not believe in it... well, whether you like it or not, or whether you believe it or not, its true... what you think doesnt change the fact... look around you.. the fact that the earth is sooo perfect for supporting life... the exact amount of sunlight, which even a 1% difference in it will destroy life, the distance between earth and the sun, which is also put to absolute accuracy for life, everything, was made for us to live! it is not by chance that some explosion made this piece of rock alive, or that we evolved from some microscopic organism... the structure of our dna is so complex and perfect, that it has to be designed by someone or something, which is God!!!

oh wells, i hope none of you are offended by this post... just telling you what i believe in... i mean, there is no way that the universe does not point to God... if you would like to prove me wrong, i am more than pleased to discuss it with you.. ^^ but i do not mean to offend anybody k? this is a darn sensitive topic, so dont sue me!!

oh well... went out today... watched zathura with my friends... it was really good.. haha... its almost exactly like jumanji, but its space this time instead of jungle stuffs... its really good and funny.. but its just a little predictable.. like you kinda know what will save them next, you know? yea... spoils the excitement... but its still good!

anyways, helped chien han with his mmm (?) project, which was to create a website about a topic.. and he chose "undiscovered talents: music".. hahaa... and he's using me as the main subject.. ahahaa... actually he should do on people like andris or ike, but he has no choice but to do me.. haha... thats why i had to like take pictures of the cello section with his camera yesterday after the concert.. and now he wants all the newspaper articles i have about my family... =.= oh wells... all the best... you need it when you involve me in your project.. haha... =p

oh wells... things going on in my mind... too many things to think about... if i were to type it, it may offend quite a number of people, and it is just tooooooooooo looooooooong... so i guess i have quite a lot of thinking and self-reflection to do... i guess i have pray about it to solve it... i cant do it on my own... sigh...

had a great day today, more or less... first of all, i had a concert yesterday (friday), with the artyfakt thingy... i played quite badly... argh! i couldnt believe it! i keep losing count of the bars and i played out of tune!!! its one of the worst concerts i've played in my life... i hated it... we were playing baroque music again... haiz... but at least i'm getting paid for it... then i hung out with some of my church friends... they came to watch the concert, but 1 of them was sleeping.. haha.. oh well...

feeling down now... haiz... shall explain later...

aniwaes, for happier news, the snyo concert today was really really really great and fun!!! my most enjoyable and fun concert i've played so far in my life... we played glinka's overture, glasnouv violin concerto, tchaikovsky symphony no.2, leroy anderson's christmas medly and some carols... it was really fun... ike played very well, and people gave him flowers and soft toys... haha... it was too many for him to carry... he was given about 2 or 3 bouquets of flowers and 2 soft toys, which was a winnie-the-pooh piglet and something else which i cant remember... and on the way back to the backstage, he dropped the piglet... haha... after the whole concert, we were playing some carols, and some of the snyo board of directors came to play along with us... hahaa... i didnt know they could play... they used to be in the singapore youth orchestra back in 1969 along with mr lim... hahaha... memories... so the audience was singing along with us, well, more or less... we could hear them... we were given a huge amount of applause, a long one, and so some people in the snyo suggested to play an encore, which was the glinka overture again, coz it was a really fast paced song... so we played it agian, this time much faster than what we played the first time... half-way through the song, mr lim walked down the conductor's platform and stood directly behind me... it was really special.. it wasnt something anyone would do during a concert.. maybe he wanted to show the people that we could play without him... maybe... haha.. i thought he was heading towards the wind and brass section, but while i was playing, i heard some breathing sounds, like those made of a conductor or player... then i turned around and i saw his looming figure behind me... wah lau... was shocked la... he was holding on to my chair somemore... we did well for the beginning of the encore, but we kinda screw up in the middle because of a stupid reason... we didnt know when to come in because our dear clarinetist wasnt there... that daniel, also the same daniel from nafa... he only had to play the overture for the night, and he left for home i guess after that piece... and we didnt have him in the encore... ahahaa... so i didnt know when to come in... aniwaes, we managed to scrape through it.. and we were given a huge applause from the audience again... at least i thought it was... haha... oh wells...

so after the whole thing, my friend and i went to meet some of the snyo guys at bakerzin at the merlion area... things there are too expensive, but i spent like $16 there, not including service charge and gst, which was like 15%... bleah... haiz... now to tell you why i'm down... we were making fun of someone, and i should have kept my big mouth shut... i told someone a little about it, and i'm not willing to tell her the rest, in order to keep some people's identity a secret... and now she's angry with me... haiz... ehz, dun angry larh.. its just a joke k? it nothing serious, please... i dont like to make my friends angry... so now i'm down, not knowing what to do...

WHAT A PISSFUL NIGHT!!!

tonight was the most pissful night i ever had!! i was sooooooooooo pissed.... i had a rehearsal at the kampong kapor church, then after that it rained so darn heavily... thats not the thing that pissed me off... it was the stupid taxis in singapore... they are so shitty! pardon my words... i cant stand it anymore... they suck to the core!! i stood in the rain with my cello for half an hour for a stupid cab! at least 20 passed by me which was not hired, and half of them were not on call!! WHAT THE HELL IS THEIR PROBLEM??!! THEY HAVE NO STUPID EXCUSE NOT TO STOP!! THEY DID NOT PUT THE ON CALL SIGN!! IT WAS SO FREAKING OBVIOUS THAT I WAS WAVING AT THEM! AND THEY DIDNT FREAKING STOP!! WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?? because of that i was freaking drenched all over... screw them...

haiz... this is my most vulgar blog, the first and last time it will be like this, unless some stupid thing happens again... crap... i dont wanna think about it anymore... concert this friday and sat... go if you want... sat is the syo concert, fri is the artyfakt thingy...... contact for more details...

EVILS!!!

haiz... i feel like killing 3 people today... wei kang, samuel and fhairil... these 3 nincompoops played a stupid trick on me... they were eating supper at this indian restaurant at Little India just now... so i joined them about 1 hr after they haf eaten... then they told me they did not have enough money to foot the bill, which was $40, and they thought i had money to help them pay first, and i had onli $3 with me... wth... i was suspecting something lorh, but i thought maybe its true, so we were like panicking on what to do... we tried calling all the nafa people to come down to help us pay or something, thats why some of you guys may have missed calls from me... ahahaa.. and i almost called my dad to come down... then my mother called from hong kong, and i told her my situation, and i kinda got a scolding or rather a lecture from her... wah liew.. then when i was about to hang up, i saw wei kang handing fhairil a $50 note... ARGH!!!! idiots!!! you guys are EVIL!!!

aniwaes, haiz... the food there was not bad larh.... went there after my rehearsal for the church thingy... it was much much better than what i expected... it was relatively easy... much easier than the previous one...

other than that, i dont have much to write about.. oh... that guy in the syo cello section, zhu en or something like that... ahahaaa... i think he's weird.. he is super duper hyperactive.. he just cant sit still for more than 1 minute... he has to walk in circles to keep himself active, and it drove some of us crazy... he also makes weird sounds during rehearsals.. ahahaa... maybe he's not human... oh well... weird people everywhere...

talking about weird, samuel and i walked past some dark alleys just now to get a bus home... there were some prostitutes in that area, most of them were neither guys nor girls... you know what i mean... and some of them were starring at us.. eeeee... then we walked pass a restaurant, and there were a group od indian guys looking and waving to us... wah lau! noooo!!! disgusting... ewww.....

went to the zoo in the morning, cause my dad's friend's son came from penang with his mother, so we thought the zoo will be a good place... havent been there for a long time too.. it was kinda fun.. first, we took a tram ride to station 3, just after the first station, we went pass the white rhinos, then the first thing we heard was 'piak'... we looked, and we saw the rhino shitting his guts out.. it was disgusting... the mushy brown stuff coming out from his rear end was really gross... then we went for the animal show, which was unexpectedly good... i think they changed the program, and it was quite funny also.. haha... then after that we walked around the zoo for quite a bit... then we came to the baboons area... omg... their butts are like huge!!! and its disgusting!!! theie butts dont look like butts in the first place... they look like a huge swollen lumps of flesh, as if it was being stung by millions of bees, and they were bright red... like, omg... i think they are in heat or something... wah.... then about 2 minutes later, we saw a male mating with a female... it was like, what, 10 secs? and its over! crappo... it was disgusting... he was like, ok, nvm... girls should not listen... haha... then we saw this baboon eating leaves, then it walked over to another side, then it faced its butt towards us... wah lau!!! it is the most disgusting butt i have every seen in my life!!! it was like this big hole with brown stuff (you-know-what), and it has like undigested leaves in it!!! wah lau!!! they sat on their food!! like, wah lau!!!!!
haiz, nvm... after that went to eat siao long bao, aka "small dragon bun"... the one at tanjong pagar... very nice... then went to school to get my practical results... and WHO IS THAT IDIOT who said our harmony results will be released on friday?? it wasnt... aniwaes, i got a B for practical... really haf to thank God for this.. i thought i would have gotten a C at most... so i told my uncle about it, and he said "ok"... =.=
i mean, haiz... nvm.. haha... considering i didnt prepare much right? oook... nvm...

aniwaes, today, nothing much happened... went to syo prac, and tell you something, jun jie is balding!~!! ahahaa... must go yun nam hair care liaoz... maybe beijing 101 better... dunno... you go try lorhz... hahahaa... aniwaes, sectionals was cancelled cause andris forgot to book the auditorium... but actually can use lehz.. it was empty when i went there... aniwaes, i went to eat italian prata at the prata cafe there... it is like soooo much better than the one at nafa... =.=
other than the service, which almost all indian stalls are bad in, it is considered not bad, but its a little wheee bit too expensive.. aniwaes, i couldnt finish my prata, so i packed it and i went for syo prac... and of course, as usual, i forgot all about it and left it at the music studio after the rehearsal... ahaha... dunno what it will become when i go back there on thursday.. hmmm... oh, andris, did you get rid of it? haha.. if you did, thanks, if not, thursday help me throw.. haha... =p
so, after that i went for sso concert... they were playing mozart's symphony no. ? and mahler no. 1... the conductor was edo duno-what.... haha... it was quite good, and i saw some nafaians there... fei yang, ren quan, the tubists and charles... haha... yea...

oh, i had a very very weird dream last night.. no, its not you andris, surprisingly... haha.. this time it was about evan... ahahahaaaa... the last person i would expect to be in my dream... basically, i dreamt that we were eating in this restaurant which actually looks like my house... it was more or less a high class place... so eva ordered this $600 jelly... hahhaaaa.... apperently the jelly was like made of limited edition powder and there are only like 100+ left in the world and production has stopped 10 years ago... ahahahaaa... wah lau... and the portion was like, the size of your finger... imagine 3 of those, yea, $600 for them... ahahaaa... and evan ran out of money to pay them, cause she only had $580 with her... wahhhahahaa... so rich lorh... thats why can go thailand lorh... aniwaes, i had to lend her $20 to pay... ahahahahaa... and it involves wei kang also... oook, i shall continue the wei kang part some other time... it was really weird...

came back from dinner, or rather supper, which was at 9.30, which was after my syo rehearsal... haiz... mr lim was pissed at the start of it.. it seemed that the brass and wind sections' attendence was really bad... but at least he said the strings' attendence was super... haha... but when he said that, i was looking around the cello section, 3 people are missing... haha... then i was like 'er....'. aniwaes, he was saying, for those people who do not turn up for rehearsal this sat, they do not need to perform for the concert... no need as in cannot, to put in bluntly... then i how?? they have rehearsal on tuesday!! and i cant make it!! ahhh!!! nvm....

aniwaes, going ot the zoo tomorrow morning.. aahaha... bringing my father's friend's son there... he's from penang, so, yea... haha... and guess what... none of my friends are going!!! =(
i asked a number of them but they rejected me, slammed the phone in my ears, shut me up, ignored my smses, deleted my e-mails, slienced my screams, blocked my msn, etc... and you call yourself friends!! =p
no larh.. they not that bad... they only ignored me only...

going to get back harmony results tomorrow, and i'm quite nervous... i heard that those who failed will receive an sms saying they ened to ro arrange a tutorial time... i didnt get it, and they said only 2 failed in my class... i'm afraid that they heard wrongly and that they will announce tomorrow... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.......... i cant wait for everything to be over tomorrow and next week... sooo many things to do... haiz...

nothing to blog now... didnt do anything today.. totally slacked at home... haiz... oh wells... looking forward to the zoo trip tomorrow.. haha...

aniwaes, went to extend my passport today... going to america on the 18th!! cant wait!! i'm gonna experience real snow for the first time in my life!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! then went to sunshine plaza to eat lunch with samuel, not the trumpeteer, the artist... he drew a face portrait of me w/o colour... its amazing!!! he has improved soooooooo much since the last time, and now my dad wants him to draw a portrait of him and my auntie... soooo cooool lo!! those who want their portraits drawn can contact through me... prices negotiable... haha... =p
then went to watch a couple of movies at the com lab which audrey brought... we watched sky high and a little bit of chicken little... sky high is quite fun... haha... and chicken little, omg, it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute and funny!!! esoecially the fish... aniwaes, after that i had to leave for a rehearsal which i have to play for the singapore youth for christ...

there are sooooo many things to do for this holiday that it doesnt seem like a holiday at all... playing for singapore youth for christ, syo and thomas manhart's church concert, which falls on the day before the syo concert... ahhhhhh.... stressed...

ooook... crap, i had another dream, and its quite scary... hahhaa... yes, same person, different story... shall not talk about it... i kana shocked... haha... oooook.... thats it for today...
